1. Highlands Ranch Community Association 2019 Member Meetings and Election

Volunteer Firefighter Board of Trustees Mail Ballot Election
Ballots for the election will be mailed on July 8th and completed ballots will be accepted until the close of business on July 26, 2019.


One of two two-year term seats on the Board of Trustees is up for election in 2019 and will be voted on by members of these pension funds:
SMFR FPD Volunteer Firefighter Pension Fund (formerly Parker Fire Protection District Volunteer Pension Fund)
Cherry Hills Old Hire Pension Fund
South Metro Fire Rescue Volunteer Pension Fund
Castlewood Fire Old Hire Pension Plan
Castlewood Fire Volunteer Pension Plan

The seat currently held by Jack Gilliland is up for election.

3. City of Castle Pines Municipal Election

The City of Castle Pines will hold a municipal election on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Background: On February 26, City Council officially set the home rule charter ballot language and called for a special mail ballot election to be held on May 14, 2019 for residents to vote on the new Home Rule Charter.

Residents will vote to approve or reject the proposed city charter.

If the vote passes, the City of Castle Pines will be governed by its new charter effective immediately.

If the proposed charter is rejected by the voters, the Charter Commission will reconvene, revise the charter, and submit the revised charter to Council. The Council will then call for an election on the revised charter.

4. Mountain View Electric Association 2019 Annual Meeting & Director Election

Thursday, June 13, 2019
6:30 p.m.

Monument, CO 80132


Members will elect 2 directors for the Association + one each from District 3 and 5.
Directors are elected "for a term to expire at the third Annual Meeting of Members after their election or until their successors are elected and qualified."
If the election is contested, voting ballots will be mailed to the members.

The last date for the return of mailed ballots will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
