Learn more at this "Engage Our Differences More Constructively: Repairing the Breach in a Time of Political Polarization" in-person and online.

The program's purpose is to push back against the contempt for others of different views that has become so common in our culture. In this moment when relationships have frayed, we need to find our way back to each other as fellow Americans.

This event grows out the National Governor's Association initiative called Disagree Better. You may recall there was an event at the National League Convention and a session in October on the research showing favorable findings around depolarization with this approach.

Governor Polis will be joined by former Governor Bill Owens and Tim Shriver, CEO of the Special Olympics and co-found of The Dignity Index.

A panel of religious leaders of differing theological views, are also part of the program and will discuss insights from faith that can be used to bridge political and cultural divisions.

Free and open to the public, but registration is required for both in-person and online.
