LWVUS Panel Discussion:
"Corruption, Never Victimless:
The Case for an International Anti-Corruption Court."
Registration is now open for virtual and in-person NGO parallel events coordinated by the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, New York, a coalition of New York–based women’s organizations in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. There is no cost to register. Participants may attend live sessions and access live and archived programming on UN Web TV.
The League of Women Voters of the United States will present a parallel event on March 11, 2026, from 1:15 – 2:45 pm ET, online entitled "Corruption, Never Victimless: The Case for an International Anti-Corruption Court."
The LWVUS Moderator will be Karin Landgren, Expert in International Peacebuilding.
Our guest speakers will include:
- Justice Richard Goldstone, First Prosecutor of the International Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda, a former Constitutional Court Justice of South Africa, and Board Member of Integrity Initiatives International (III)
- Serena Ibrahim, Founder of Youth Against Corruption
- Casey Michel, Head of the Human Rights Foundation’s Combating Kleptocracy Program
- Hon. Allan Rock, Chair of III’s IACC Treaty Committee, former Canadian Minister of Justice and Ambassador to the UN
- Rebecca Shoot, Advisory Board Member of III, an international lawyer and democracy practitioner
