The League of Women Voters, together with hundreds of state and local Leagues and coalition partners, will host a Pep Rally online in advance of the August 8 Unite & Rise for Voting Rights Day of Action.
Bring your energy and your passion for democracy! Join defenders of democracy from across the country for an interactive virtual celebration featuring:

This exciting online event is designed to energize, connect, and inform advocates, volunteers, and community members who care about voting rights, civic engagement, and democracy. Hear from inspiring speakers, connect with fellow changemakers, and get critical information about opportunities to take action in your community!
This Pep Rally also serves as a launchpad for the Unite & Rise for Voting Rights Day of Action nationwide on August 8. This nationwide Day of Civic Action honors the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and exhorts communities to protect and strengthen voting rights that are under attack. Hundreds of locally organized events will take place simultaneously across the United States, inviting people to show up, learn, and commit to ongoing action in defense of the freedom to vote.
